A link to my new portfolio
We seem to have a habit of doing things twice this semester, but I am glad because I had a chance to play around with my pictures again and even try some more editing. This is only the first version since I want to add a ton of pictures that aren't part of this assignment. It has been a fantastic semester. ReplyDeleteFirst, every word has a lowercase first letter, I am assuming this is intentional?
I especially like the top one on the menu bar, but once you click on the topic (the words below your name), I don't like as much. I would consider GoInG EvErY oThEr LeTter or at least adding a few more lowercase throughout. I believe this change would tell the story in fun, playful, energetic, creative, etc. way... But to me your best option would be to change the font to express the message you want to tell.
I love your Twitter link; easy to find and formatted uniformly throughout the portfolio.
I also really like how large each photo appears great sizing. They look good off the background, as they seem to pop right out.
"Shooting Tight and "Bracketing" you may want to change the title that comes on when you scroll over the photo to white. I had a hard time reading the text especially on "Shooting Tight."
Looks great! My comments are nit-picky and can be placed under personal preference. My thoughts in a nutshell,
